 MUM & BABY YOGA
The elbowroom offers a range of classes for new mums with the added benefit of being able to bring your baby to the centre. Yes we are child friendly!
Bring your baby along to a fun yoga class and meet other mums. This class will focus on restoring your shape and physical well-being after child birth. We will concentrate classes on targeting specific areas such as upper back, pelvic floor, abdominals etc. Your baby can enjoy postures along side you or be part of the posture.
During the class we will also be doing some targeted pilates classes to help with pelvic floor firming and abdominal tone.
Meeting a group of mothers is also great social interaction if you are craving adult company!
Class every Tuesday at 11:15-12:15.
INFANT MASSAGE

What is Infant Massage? Infant massage is an ancient tradition that has been practised for centuries in India, which has been rediscovered throughout the West. Clinical evidence shows that infant massage has positive effects for caregivers and infants and has an important impact on their development. It is through our senses that all human beings interact with their environment. Emotionally massage will provide your baby with a sense of well-being and security and can communicate the love you feel for your child. Once you start to massage your baby you will begin to understand how important the sense of touch is to both you and your baby.

What does the course involve? Classes run for 4 consecutive weeks starting Mar 9th, for approx 60mins. Classes are designed for you with your baby from birth to pre-crawling. What do Course Participants Learn? Course participants learn how to massage their baby whilst being guided through a step-by-step massage routine which uses a carefully balanced combination of Swedish, Indian and Reflexology techniques. Each participant receives individual attention. Guidance is provided.
