  • Ancient Thai Massage
    Ancient Thai is an ancient therapeutic procedure which provides relaxation, balance in the body's various centres, healthy blood circulation and an overall manipulation of the physical form and structure of the body.

    It is a working of the pressure points, energy lines, and basic body forces which together produce a highly therapeutic effect. The influence of yoga is also present in the body positions and the stretching movements that are part of Thai massage. It is performed on a floor mat, rather than on a raised table. The client remains fully clothed throughout this treatment.

  • Acupuncture
    Acupuncture is a form of treatment used in both Traditional and Classical Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is based on the principle that there are energetic pathways, or channels, throughout the body that influence associated internal organs and structures. Energy from these pathways surfaces at various points on the body, identified as acupuncture points. Each of these acupuncture points serves as a tunnel, or access route, to the deeper circulatory channels within. Extremely fine gauge needles are inserted at selected points, stimulating these points and thereby activating the body’s natural healing abilities.
  • Aromatherapy Massage
    Aromatherapy is the controlled and informed use of essential oils to maintain and/or improve the health of the mind, body and spirit. Pure essential oils have great healing properties. The essential oils are usually administered by massage, in an oil vaporiser or added to baths.
    Aromatherapy is not a deep tissue massage, it is designed to relax the client, soften and warm the muscles, aid the passage of essential oils into the body.
    Aromatherapy can be used to help allieviate a wide range of skin conditions, as well as general health conditions and mental health conditions.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

    Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.     This approach is powerful and can sometimes be a little intense although the benefits are great. It is helpful in restructuring the body, improving posture.

  • Ear Candling

  • Ear Candling is a technique used by the ancient Hopi Indians, Egyptians, Mayans and Tibetans. A hollow candle that tapers at one end fits into the ear. The opposite end is set to flame creating a vacumm that cleanses residues out of the ear. It helps to balance the sinuses and eustation tube, easing sinus and ear problems.

  • Facial Massage
    Facial Massage can be used to relieve stress, migraine headache, PMS and sinus congestion. Can be given as a treatment on it's own normally covering the neck, shoulders, face and head or as part of a whole massage session.
  • Homeopathy

    Homeopathy: A system of therapy based on the concept that disease can be treated with drugs (in minute doses) thought capable of producing the same symptoms in healthy people as the disease itself. According to homeopathy, symptoms are the body's way of fighting disease. Homeopathy teaches that symptoms are to be encouraged, by prescribing a "remedy" in minuscule doses that in large doses would produce the same symptoms seen in the patient. These remedies are meant to stimulate the immune system, helping to cure the illness, according to homeopathy.

    The client is seated for this treatment. Normally oils are used on the face and in the hair, you can ask for this to be omitted.

  • Pre-Natal Massage
    Pre-natal massage is a natural, touch therapy treatment aimed at alleviating pregnancy related symptoms, offering a wide range of benefits, which include the following:

    • Eases backaches, headaches, shoulder and neck aches that may be caused by muscle tension and shifts in posture to accommodate increasing weight
    • Decreases pain in the pelvic/hip area.

    All expectant mothers should check with their doctors prior to getting a massage. If you have diabetes or high blood pressure, or are on the early stages of pregnancy (the first trimester), pre-natal massage may not be recommended. It is important to share information about your condition and your preferences with your therapist when you arrive for your appointment.

  • Pre Natal Refelxology

    Reflexology can be hugely beneficial for pregancy and alleviates a range of side effects: reducing and normalising high blood pressure; normalising low blood pressure; elimination of oedema and reduced swelling in feet and ankles; prevention of heartburn; improved sleep quality.   • Pre Natal Shiatsu
    Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing and safe therapy for expectant mothers. It may also help to relieve many of the conditions which can arise during pregnancy. This includes back pain, neck and shoulder tension, sciatica, oedema, nausea and anxiety. It may also be used in preparation for labour (and the mother and birth partner can be taught acupressure points which may help alleviate pain, shorten labour and calm nerves.)

  • Remedial Massage

    Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve health and enhance the quality of life.

  • Shiatsu
    Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese hands-on therapy and is an excellent way to relax and de-stress. Shiatsu practitioners use a variety of techniques to stimulate the flow of energy (ki) throughout the body, including pressure along acupressure lines and points, stretches, rotation of the limbs and mobilisation of the joints. Shiatsu can relieve a variety of conditions including headaches, stiffness and tension, stress, insomnia, menstral problems, joint pain, anxiety and depression. The patient remains fully clothed and treatments take place on a mat or seated in a chair, so please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

    • Sports Massage
      Sports Massage is a special form of massage and is typically used before, during, and after athletic events. The purpose of the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries.
