WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
On the surface both disciplines present similarities like breathing, moving and wearing stretchy apparel. When we look closer they are as different as Martial Arts are to Ballet.
As an expectant mother you want to be as healthy and strong as you can be to prepare for your birth. It’s not called labour for nothing.
That said, there are going to be days, particularly during the first trimester, when you feel so exhausted that even the sheer effort of lifting your hairbrush could reduce you to a puddle of tears.
January can be a month of fierce weather where storms, snow, floods and flu’s are thrown at us. January is seen as a depressing month as the glow of Christmas is gone and we’re left with bills, worries and empty pockets. It can take quite a toll on our health.
SO HOW CAN THE ELBOWROOM CLINIC BE OF HELP TO YOU THIS JANUARY?
While your baby or babies grew in your abdomen, the muscles at the front of your belly were pushed out and pulled apart. About 3 months after the birth of your baby, the muscles should have returned back together.
