Summer Camps for Kids in Dublin

July 2022

From art and science to outdoor adventures, we offer a wide selection of kids summer camps with great activities for your child in Dublin.
Camps offer a fun avenue for children to enhance their learning, communication skills and general knowledge.
The elbowroom offers supportive environment with an emphasis on positive reinforcement, confidence and  individuality.
Additional childcare hours may be possible if the demand is there. Please get in touch should you require additional information.

Important info:

  • Cost €110 per child per week includes snacks.
  • Please note that all children must be at Primary School (not creche) and the minimum age is 4 yrs old. They MUST also be toilet-trained.
  • Places are limited so please book early.
  • We ask all children to bring their own labelled water bottle and a packed lunch for midday.
  • Camp Runs from 9am-2pm each day.

Summer Camp

Arts Week: July 4th-8th

Children will enjoy lots of arts and crafts. They will learn how to paint like Frida Kahlo, build magnificent toilet paper structures, and learn to self portrait and showcase them as an exhibition to the class. They will watch a video on the history of movies and create their own silent movie.

A jam-packed week of art and fun!
Every day the children will also enjoy some outdoor time at Grangegorman (weather permitting).

Summer Camp

Science Week: July 11th-15th

For science week, activities* will include planting vegetables in their own pots that they have decorated. They will be creating volcanos from play dough and the next day learning about eruptions. They will learn about lava lamps and how to make their own from plastic bottles, oil, paint and water. On the final day, it is all about slime and how it is made.

Every day the children will also enjoy some outdoor time at Grangegorman (weather permitting).

Summer Camp

Sports Week: July 18th-22nd

This is an action-packed week of obstacle courses, basketball, rounders, volleyball and relay races. Not to be missed. Our goal is to offer a fun time through a variety of activities.

For this week, the children will enjoy some outdoor time at the playground and sports activities on the fields at Grangegorman (weather permitting).

Summer Camp

Culture Week: July 25th-29th

Children will learn about the history of Ireland, Greek, Mexican and Chinese cultures and the Carnival of Venice. Expect drawing, building models of greek temples, face painting, paper dragons and a fancy dress and mask making activities.

Every day the children will also enjoy some outdoor time at Grangegorman (weather permitting).
