Therapeutic Yoga Training : 2 free spaces for parents

Our Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training course starts this weekend.

We have two spaces left and would like to offer them for free to parents of children with ASD, Dyspraxia – DCD, Down Syndrome or SPD.

The course runs over 2 weekends the 18 &19 June and the 8 -10th July, we would ask that parents who would like to apply for the free space be available on all the dates involved.

Help development at home

This 5 day course will teach you how to plan specific sequences to benefit children with the a range of difficulties using both occupational and yoga therapy, helping to empower parents with skills to build up their family support resources.

Run by yoga therapist Lisa Wilkinson and paediatric occupational therapist and author Ines Lawlor, the training is worth €650. This could be just the thing if you were really interested in the course but were lacking the financial resources to get you there.

Lisa opened The elbowroom in February 2003. Mother to Tuilelaith and Sean, director of The elbowroom and with a crew of over 60 staff, she is a busy bee. Lisa leads a team committed to bringing health and vitality to all of her clients. Lisa currently teaches in our yoga training programs and oversees pregnancy yoga and mum & baby yoga. Lisa works hard developing healthy food choices for Yin & Tonic @ The elbowroom. She specialises paediatric and pregnancy with workshops, yoga therapy, and craniosacral therapy.
