The elbowroom Teacher Training School History
As a purpose designed set of studios, The elbowroom opened in February 2003. The ethos of the studio is to make yoga enjoyable and accessible. Initially, the director, Lisa Wilkinson, was the sole teacher in the studio but they now have over 40 teaching staff, 20 teacher trainers, a clinic with 12 complimentary therapists, an in-house cafe and numerous full-time employees to help make all this possible.
The elbowroom have been helping new yoga teachers to thrive since 2005. Our teacher training school offers a comprehensive range of yoga teacher training courses with varied levels of CPD available to selected students with an excellent yoga practice. We encourage trainee teachers, with permission from their trainers, to assist in our classes to gain experience.
