5 Ways To Entertain Your Kids This Summer
The sun is out, the kids are off school and the novelty wears thin when havoc at home ensues due to boredom. We’ve written 5 tips to help you keep your little ones entertained during the summer months in every weather condition!
1. Pitch Up A Tent!
There’s nothing kids love more than a camping experience. You can easily pick up a cheap tent and bring that getaway feeling to your own back-garden, or even your sitting room. Get the popcorn, night-light and sleeping bags ready. Just make sure to check for monsters!
2. Get Thee To An Animal Sanctuary!
Looking for a fun day out, away from screens, that teaches your kids about compassion and animal welfare? There’s no question that animal sanctuaries are the most heart-warming way to spend a day. Pet some woofies, feed the cute animals and watch the day slip away.
3. Get The Chalk Out!
Want your little artists to shine? Buy a small pack of coloured chalk and watch your patio become transformed by the little Michaelangelos. Cheap to buy, self cleaning (thanks rain!) and guaranteed to keep your kids feeling creative, free-spirited and above all, entertained.
4. Water Is Your Friend!
So often, kids have to remain clean, dry and behaved. Every now and then, it’s important to let them run loose with some water balloons on a sunny day. Nothing will ensue more laughter than a water balloon fight and some bubbles. If the weather isn’t on your side, fill your bath full of their favourite toys and let their imaginations run wild.
5. 500 Piece Jigsaw Anyone?
The more pieces, the more peace and quiet! Jigsaws are fun for almost every age. They build team-work, get the creating juices flowing and what satisfaction when the final picture is complete. If it’s getting complete a bit too fast, you know what to do, buy a bigger jigsaw!
Bonus Tip: Come To Our Summer Camp!
