Restorative Yin Yoga with Eimear Beardmore
This Restorative Yin Yoga workshop aims to restore and recharge the body on many levels.
One component of the workshop will focus on Yin yoga, releasing tension and resistance in the connective tissue of the body and focusing on grounding through connection to the body, breath and mind. Yin yoga helps to cultivate a receptive sense of being that will support us as we focus on restorative yoga, the second component of the workshop.
Restorative yoga focuses on calming the nervous system and exploring deeper forms of relaxation. It’s practised with the support of bolsters, blankets and blocks, allowing the body to feel supported and prepared for the concluding extended Shavasana.
