Yoga for Runners with Kasandra

BOUNCE BACK FROM INJURY OR AVOID IT ALL TOGETHER

In this workshop, aimed at both those new to running as well as experienced runners, you will learn simple yoga poses and sequences to increase your flexibility, strengthen and lengthen leg muscles and prevent injury in your running practice.

We will learn a breathing exercise (pranayama) to optimise your breath, a joint freeing sequence to loosen up your joints before the run as well as a sequence of post-run stretches.

We will also look at the proper alignment to prevent injury and strain in your ankles, knees, lower back, neck and shoulders.

Both seasoned yogis and beginners welcome!
